A quick check of the article shows that they’re talking about a minor Arch-diaspora distro with a confusing name, not the DE itself, and the only specific things they mention as being trimmed are not part of KDE proper.
on top of not being about the kde everyone is thinking about, they’re also making mostly inconsequential changes. crazy misleading title here, one has to assume intentionally so
I don’t think it’s misleading, you just have to know that “KDE Linux” is a distro, not the DE. If anything, poor choice on the devs for choosing such an overloaded name.
Is there anything left if you start removing that from linux?
