    Arguably, the openness is in that the EU OS can switch from one to another at some point if it becomes necessary.

    Supporting multiple alternatives within the same platform and OS is costly. Not only the integration, but also user training and troubleshooting, specifically about the many, big and small subtle differences. Focusing on one, for now anyway, makes sense.

      ‘Competition’ is perpetual economic war. People and environment dies/suffers and value are stolen by corps/oligarchs… You have been propagandized…

        You speak as if those things don’t happen in a monopoly. Competition at least had a semblance of keeping each competitor on their foot.

        Only problem is consolidation of power is inevitable and thus the point is moot. You should have had a better argument for why it doesn’t work… instead you chose to look like the guy yelling at clouds.
